2005 APICS Conference Moved from New Orleans to Kansas City

September 7, 2005- On september 2, 2005, APICS released an official update regarding the conference that was to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina ravaged through New Orleans, it was evident that the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the city of New Orleans will not be prepared to accommodate the 2005 APICS International Conference & Exposition by October.

The conference has been relocated to the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. It is scheduled for the same dates, October 16-18th, 2005. The Kansas City Convention Center boasts 388,800 square feet of column-free exhibit space along with 45 meeting rooms a theater and an arena.

Despite these recent tragedies, LLamasoft will still be present at the extravaganza. Plan to visit us in booth # 827. We will showcase our supply chain strategic planning product, Supply Chain Guru. Stop by to see our sales team. We're eager to show you what we have planned for 2005!
