LLamasoft provides software and expertise to design and improve supply chain network operations. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, we were founded in 1998 as the first company to combine enterprise-level simulation with full-feature network and inventory optimization within a single modeling application. Today, our clients include many of the world's largest organizations across a wide range of industries.

Since the beginning, our mission has been to become the world leader in Supply Chain Design and Planning. For over a decade we have been at the cutting edge of this industry, continuously building out our technology and resources to help our customers design best in class supply chain networks.

In 2003, we introduced the first commercial release of our flagship product Supply Chain Guru™. Over the next few years we continued to release a steady stream of new and improved features. 2007 market a major turning point for LLamasoft with the release of our proprietary and first of its kind simulation engine that enabled true “enterprise simulation” of extremely large supply chain models.

Later in 2007, LLamasoft became an early leader in the Green Supply Chain movement with the introduction of our fully integrated greenhouse gas emission modeling features. Users were now able to identify their “carbon footprint” as well as optimize their supply chain operations to accommodate emission reduction initiatives or carbon offset programs.

LLamasoft’s innovation in Supply Chain Design and Planning continued in 2009 with our release of the first-ever integrated Network & Inventory Optimization solution. This revolutionary integration of analysis techniques has opened the door for a new level of Network Design and S&OP solutions. 2009 also marked the release of SupplyChainGuru.com, a first of its kind online network design application and support center.

LLamasoft remains focused on our mission to become the world leader in Supply Chain Design and Planning and we continue to expand the company to include a dedicated team of consultants and developers that ensure success in all of our projects. Most importantly, we continue to leverage our experience to create a unique value for our clients and partners.
