Supply Chain Design Visualization and Analytics

LLamasoft strives to compress the time it takes to understand complex information through built-in supply chain visualization and analytic reports. Common and consistent views of data enable individuals and groups of decision makers to come to agreement quicker on current network status and strategies.

Visual Modeler
Visual Modeler is the first of its kind technology to be used in strategic supply chain analysis and modeling. While map views have been common with network design applications, they have never been able to help users intuitively add, change, or move data. Visual Modeler enables users to "drag and drop" changes to their network design, or even design an entire supply chain simply by importing the shipment file and drawing the network on the Visual Modeler canvas. Sourcing, inventory, and transportation policies can be modified for hundreds of sites or source/destination pairs by dragging the mouse over selected locations or arcs. Key cost, capacities, and inventory metrics can be added by hovering over sites and filtering on key products or product groups. Multiple views can be saved showing specific product supply chains rather than viewing the entire network. Grouping of products, customers, DCs, or plants can be done on the fly using visual modeler to quickly make policy changes across the network.

Google Earth
Supply Chain Guru® now has an integrated link with Google Earth, allowing users to export their supply chain to be viewed and analyzed using the mutli-dimensional layering available with Google Earth. Non-Guru users can now view the results of baseline and what-if supply chains, and apply metrics such as population densities, view 3D buildings for potential sites, view real-time weather updates to understand supply chain issues, and view tours for key source/destinations to understand detailed mileage and logistics impacts.

Report Generator
Standard now with Supply Chain Guru® is numerous graphical outputs for both optimization and simulation models. There are over 60 standard graphical output reports for optimization and over 20 for simulation outputs. In addition, all graphs enable the user to modify or filter the graphical views. Graphs can be copied to PowerPoint, or users can export data directly into Excel for further analysis. Side by side analysis of many models allows users to quickly understand the impact of changes to sourcing, production, or inventory.

Tableau Analytics
In addition to the standard graphical outputs in Guru, users can also take advantage of the analytics in Tableau (www.tableausoftware.com), a browser based analytics tools that enable users to view additional reports, create ad-hoc analysis, and publish favorite reports to other users or to keep as their own personal analytics workbook. Supply Chain Guru® is seamlessly integrated to Tableau, so users simply need to click on the link in the graphs tab in Guru to access Tableau. Users can also use Tableau to create sophisticated dashboards that contain both Guru and non-Guru data - to monitor key peformance metrics established by Guru.
