Coronavirus (COVID-19) Business Continuity

Our plan to provide continuous service to our customers and to support a safe work environment for our employees

Given the current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), LLamasoft is executing its existing Business Continuity Plan to provide services to customers and support a safe work environment for LLamasoft employees. The plan continues operations on three fronts: global support, consulting services and software solutions. From an overall company perspective, we have activated our cross-functional team to support you.

LLamasoft’s Business Continuity Plan for global support includes:

  • Identification and mapping of vulnerabilities in our support services globally and documentation of processes for continuity
  • Documentation on our support process to ensure continuous availability of our agents for 24/5 coverage based on our SLAs
  • Documentation and execution of drill runs with the global team, to ensure continuous operation amidst crisis
  • Ensure we have technologies for remote seamless support experience for our customers regardless of location of our resources
  • Internal and external Continuity Plan communications as outlined in our plan to inform customers and employees of operation status
  • Implementation of travel restrictions, notification of precautions to our employees and provision of equipment and technology to employees to ensure business continuity

LLamasoft’s Business Continuity Plan for consulting engagements includes:

  • Identification and mapping of vulnerabilities in our consulting services globally, documentation of processes for continuity and communication to the team
  • Documentation of each engagement in an internal shadowing effort so we mitigate redundancy in consulting coverage
  • Implementation of travel restrictions, notification of precautions to our employees and provision of equipment and technology to employees to ensure business continuity
  • Development of communication for customers to share these measures to ensure continuity of all operations
  • Testing of applicable technologies to ensure continuous delivery of remote services across each geography
  • Testing of access to online content and examination for our training engagements
  • Redoubling efforts to connect and leverage subcontractors that have been certified in our technologies in case of resource scarcity
  • Execution of drills with the team (most of our consulting team already works remotely)

LLamasoft’s Business Continuity Plan for our software solutions includes:

  • Identification and mapping of vulnerabilities in our solution services globally and documentation of processes for continuity across services, development operations and engineering
  • Testing our process for DevOps support redundancy and documentation
  • System redundancy and switch testing between systems and up time recovery
  • Process testing as required by our business continuity plan
  • Execution of drills in preparation for outages and reduced personnel
  • Internal and external continuity plan communications as outlined in our plan to inform customers and employees of operation status
