LLamasoft and Argos Recognized for Outstanding Supply Chain Innovation

Companies Recognized by CSCMP and SupplyChainBrain in Supply Chain Innovation Award Competition

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (October 19, 2017) – LLamasoft, a global leader in supply chain optimization software and solutions, and Argos, the UK’s leading digital retailer, today announced that they have been recognized as second place award recipients in CSCMP and SupplyChainBrain’s Supply Chain Innovation Award™ competition.

The Supply Chain Innovation Award recognizes innovation in supply chain management. Nominations are submitted in the form of a case study, highlighting achievements by a single company or a combination of companies that collaborate on creating significant innovation. Of all of the case study submissions received each year from nominees, only six are selected to participate in the competition, held at leading supply chain conference CSCMP EDGE.

LLamasoft and Argos highlighted how Argos utilized LLamasoft’s technology to transform from a traditional replenishment model to an agile, omni-channel fulfilment model, one where same-day home delivery or store pick-up is offered to 95 percent of UK households.

Scores are awarded to each case study submitted based on innovation, case study results, and final presentation to a conference audience. Judges of the competition include a wide range of analysts, educators, practitioners, and industry journalists from CSCMP and SupplyChainBrain.
