May 3rd, 2012

Ann Arbor, MI – LLamasoft, the leader in supply chain design technology, today announced has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the Cool Vendors in the SAP Ecosystem, 2012*  report by Gartner, Inc.

According to the report, “This year’s Cool Vendors provide innovative solutions that address recurring SAP customer challenges, such as the user interface, mobile business intelligence, specialized supply chain functionality, batch processing and automatic ABAP correction.”

Gartner’s research noted, “As part of a program to mature a supply chain and improve performance, longer-term design and configuration decisions need to be modeled in terms of likely implications. Approved options need to be enacted back through operational planning and execution.”

“We are honored to have been named as one of Gartner’s ‘Cool Vendors’,” said Toby Brzoznowski, LLamasoft’s Executive Vice President. “SAP users make up a good percentage of our client-base, so we consider our inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner as a confirmation of our investment to provide certified integration into the SAP data environment. This integration will become more and more valuable as Supply Chain Design continues its move towards the modeling and analytics of Big Data.”
