Supply chain leader also honored with eighth consecutive Fast Track Award

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (November 16, 2015) – LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design software solutions, has been named the “Technology Company of the Year” at the 2015 MLive Deals of the Year Awards. LLamasoft was also honored with its eight consecutive Ann Arbor SPARK FastTrack award for demonstrating consistent year-over-year growth.

The eleventh annual Deals of the Year awards, an event that celebrates the people and companies that have impacted Washtenaw County over the last year, were held on Friday, November 13. Awards were granted to leading companies in the categories of research, non-profit, retail, restaurant, construction and development and commercial real estate. This marks LLamasoft’s first win in the Technology Company of the Year category.

“It’s been a huge year for LLamasoft, from launching the first SaaS-based supply chain design tool late last year, receiving funding from Goldman Sachs this fall to enable us to kick off large, strategic initiatives and combining the power of two other supply chain tools sets in Barloworld and LogicTools into the LLamasoft suite,” said CEO, President and co-found of LLamasoft, Don Hicks. “With all this growth, it’s important to stay close to our roots and we are extremely proud to call Ann Arbor home and be recognized by this community.”

LLamasoft has been honored with an Ann Arbor SPARK FastTrack award every year since 2008. Recipients of 2015 FastTrack awards were required to have revenue of at least $100,000 in 2011, with an annual growth of 20 percent for the following three years. LLamasoft was one of only two eight-time winners.
