LLamasoft Named to Top 100 Logistics IT Providers by Inbound Logistics Magazine

April 17, 2012

April 17th, 2012

Ann Arbor, MI – LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design technology, today announced that it has been named to Inbound Logistics magazines’ 2012 Top 100 Logistics IT Providers list.

“The selection process was incredibly challenging for the editorial staff as they had to select 100 logistics IT leaders from close to 300 companies that were nominated,” said Felecia Stratton, Editor of Inbound Logistics.

The Top 100 list appears in the April 2012 issue. After the issue prints, the information will be posted online and in a digital edition. Also, after the issue prints, an updated Logistics IT Decision Support Tool, where readers can enter their logistics technology requirements and match the solutions providers best suited to their needs, will be posted.

LLamasoft has continued its rapid growth and innovation cycle over the last several years, doubling in size each of the last two years and increasing global coverage to new markets.  LLamasoft’s flagship product, Supply Chain Guru®, has become the tool-of-choice for designing supply chains that are optimized for cost, service, sustainability, and risk.

“We’re honored to be selected by Inbound Logistics for this award,” said Toby Brzoznowski, LLamasoft’s Executive Vice President. “Because this award comes from peer nominations, it indicates that LLamasoft has earned the trust and respect of global companies by providing quality solutions for designing competitive supply chains.”

About Inbound Logistics

When Inbound Logistics produced its first issue in 1981, transportation and logistics were back-room silo functions and the term “supply chain” didn’t exist. The ideas we advocated—realigning business by better matching supply to demand, and speeding and reducing inventory—were diametrically opposed to what most were practicing. By staying true to our educational mission and through the efforts of a passionate staff, IL became the informational change agent for reinventing supply chain processes, and a catalyst for this new overall approach to business operations.

The magazine has had a three-decade journey from being an outsider with counter-culture ideas of how transportation should fit within the enterprise, to the information leader in supply chain and logistics management.
