LLamasoft to Present on Panel at Supply Chain Leaders in Action Annual Executive Business Forum
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (May 12, 2014) – LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design solutions will participate in a panel discussion titled “Using Big Data as a Competitive Weapon” at the Supply Chain Leaders in Action (SCLA) Annual Executive Business Forum at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Senior Vice President of Solutions for LLamasoft, John Ames, will participate in the panel to be held from 1:45-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 in the Arizona II and III rooms. Ames will present a customer case study on the use of simulation and optimization technology as applied to big data to develop inventory deployment strategies and fulfillment policies in retail. The panel will be moderated by Jason Reiman, VP of Global Logistics Excellence for the Hershey Company. Other participating panelists include Tim Carroll, Vice President of Global Execution – Integrated Supply Chain for IBM, Chuck Fries, Vice President of Material Operations for Avnet and Dave Klinger, Senior Supply Chain Consultant for Kimberly-Clark.
