LLamasoft to Host Supply Chain Design Conference in Tokyo
Event to draw supply chain leaders from Japan and Southeast Asia Region to discuss the importance of supply chain design
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (January 26, 2016) – LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design software solutions, will host its first Supply Chain Exchange conference on February 24, 2016 at the Bellesalle Tokyo Nihonbashi. The event will bring together supply chain leaders, technology experts and partners to discuss global supply chain challenges and strategies for how Japanese companies can address changing market conditions, improve efficiencies, reduce cost and manage risk.
The one-day event will include a supply chain design keynote from LLamasoft President and CEO Don Hicks; customer case study presentations from John Bozynski, Planning Manager at Ford Motor Company, and best practice examples from other LLamasoft customers; networking opportunities; and new technology demonstrations presented by the LLamasoft kk team based in Tokyo.
“Supply chain design is a core business process that should reside alongside planning and execution functions,” says Hicks. “Supply chain software that models and simulates different what-if scenarios enables organizations to consider the future state of their supply chain and provides global companies with a framework for continually analyzing their networks as dynamics change. This event will bring together strategic thinkers and innovators who can guide companies on organizing processes and strategies that make supply chain design a part of the decision-making landscape.”
