SummerCon Supply Chain Design Conference to Celebrate Fifth Anniversary
LLamasoft Annual Conference Held in Park City, Utah June 24-26
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (June 9, 2015). LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design software, will host its fifth annual supply chain design conference, SummerCon, June 24-26 at the Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah. The only conference dedicated to practitioners of and thought leaders on the topic of supply chain design will be preceded by two days of supply chain design training courses, June 22-23.
SummerCon is in its fifth year, this year boasting more than 30 breakout sessions including customer case studies and commentary from industry analysts and thought-leaders. With steadily increasing attendance year over year, this year’s SummerCon is likely to draw 500+ supply chain and logistics professionals from multiple industries and geographies.
New this year is the Supply Chain Design Expo Hall, where other leading supply chain vendors can demonstrate their tools, technologies and services to attendees. SummerCon will also include ample networking opportunities and five keynote addresses from LLamasoft co-founder, President and CEO Don Hicks, aerospace engineer Burt Rutan, explorer Ranulph Fiennes, science historian James Burke and international supermodel and philanthropist Petra Nemcova, as well as a concert by popular Colombian salsa band La-33.
“We started SummerCon 5 years ago as a special event that would bring supply chain designers from around the world together in one place,” said Hicks. “It’s been a huge success, and SummerCon is now a phenomena that we look forward to all year. We’ve had some amazing speakers, and expect even more fireworks this year as we create an experience focused on imagination, exploration, and most importantly: networking with your fellow designers around the world. For our fifth anniversary, we wanted to push the environment even further, in the unique atmosphere of Park City, Utah.”
